Whitehall hotel, Essex Lisa married Phil on 16th April 2010. It was a beautiful day and, I think, everything Lisa wanted. The weather was brilliant - so hot and sunny - and not a plane within earshot as all flights had been cancelled because of the Iceland dust cloud! The night before the wedding, we all went out for a meal in one of Lisa's favourite restaurants. There was about 20 of us there, and it was lovely. However, Lisa had a bit too much to drink and so when the morning of the wedding came (I was sharing a room with Lise) she felt rather rough! She didn't want mum to know, but I had to tell her eventually as Lisa wouldn't get out of bed!!!! Mum was not impressed! Later than planned, Lisa stumbled out of bed and began getting ready. You could not tell she was hung-over - she looked beautiful. Lisa barely ate anything all day as she had a dodgy tummy from the alcohol! But she still enjoyed her day. As did we all. The day after we all went back to the farm, and had tea and cakes. We played football (Uncle Andrew got injured within seconds!) and sat in the sun. A wonderful end to a wonderful weekend.
